The Imajo region prospered as an inn town for people visiting from Kyoto. Sake Brewery Zenroku was founded in 1716 by the first generation, Kitamura Zenroku, who used his name to carry on his traditions and techniques. The representative sake is Hijiri-no-Miyo, a long-term low-temperature aged Daiginjo, and more than 20 other types of brewed at any given time, which can be tasted and purchased at the store.
