The Takefu public hall Memorial

HISTORY

The building was constructed in 1929 and used as a town hall and public hall. After renovation, it was registered as a national tangible cultural property. The museum exhibits archaeological objects excavated from the ruins of Echizen City and holds exhibitions related to Echizen City. The second-floor guest room, which was restored based on the original construction blueprints, is also open to visitors free of charge when the museum is open.
